How I Work

I deeply believe in the strength, wisdom, and resilience within every person.
My role is to offer a safe, compassionate space—one where you feel supported enough to explore, reflect, and begin to hear your own voice more clearly. My approach is relational, intuitive, and often sprinkled with humor.
Over the years, I’ve become especially attuned to how our bodies hold our stories. When we feel disconnected, part of our work is learning how to gently listen again—to slow down and tune into what’s beneath the surface.
My Theraputic Approach

My approach is eclectic, relational, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from a range of modalities depending on what feels most supportive for each person. I’m trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a structured, behavioral approach to working with trauma, as well as Body Psychotherapy, a five-year training that invites the body to be an active participant and teacher in the healing process.
I also integrate positive and developmental psychology, neurobiology and the lens of Attachment Theory, exploring how our early relationships shape how we connect, trust, and relate to ourselves and others in the present. When words fall short, I often turn to creative expression—art, writing, movement, music, and poetry—as powerful tools to access deeper layers of healing and insight.
Above all, I aim to co-create a space that honors your voice, your pace, and your unique path toward healing.

Your First Visit

Starting therapy can bring up a variety of emotions, whether it is your first time or if you have been in therapy for years. Meeting someone new and beginning your "work," takes energy, so it can be helpful to know what to expect in our first session.

In our first session we will explore together your expectations for therapy, set goals for treatment and create a plan to measure and attain those goals. I follow your lead as to the areas in which you are ready and willing to work.

To imagine the fullness of life....
So much is unfolding that must
complete its gesture,
so much is in bud."
